today just sux.
I wanted to enjoy myself.

Disclaimer: This entry will be draggy as it served for me to look back at my wonderful memories i have during Delta Camp..So it is advised not to read this post.LoL.Btw, I posted some Hotel pics at the previous postToday is Monday-2 days after Delta camp is over and I am still adjusting to the luxury i have back home compared to in camp. LoL. In camp everything seems to be in a rush; time flies quickly; everything was done in quite a fast pace! For eg. I believed many girls set a record for themselves during showertime. haha! Some amazing feat i came across was one girl who can spend 40 mins in bathroom at home and in camp...only spend 10 mins! Then she said her mother will be so proud of her..hahaha! Oh well. those were the days...Looking back, I never regret attending that camp..its quite fun but i prefer Ab camp. Why? `cos got DRAGON BOATING and can go SENTOSA!!! =(
First day of DE- 30 May 2006Was having mixed feeling for this camp as i thought it will be another boring slack camp whereby I will probably rot in there. But, I soon found out this was not true. So, I reached school at 7.30am and found my facilitator asking for our valuables. Then, I stupidly took out both my wallet and my hp.. Actually, I got the intention of sneaking to the vending machine for some softdrinks [ i brought $6 worth of coins for this] and gt the intention of sms-ing ppl over the night [ i even brought charger]. Oh well.. then i realised, this is not Ncc Air camp where by we, ncos [sec4] can do almost anything that we liked as long as we dont do it in front of the cadets. Haha..So, I sort of reluctantly hand my valuables over after 10mins of failure of dissuading the facilitator yongwei nt to take my valuables. =(
Then, we proceeded to the bunk 133. Yay! I am in the same bunk as the two lys- Shirley and Kelly. Heh. Then we put up clothesliner using my rafia strings and gave the rest of it to other bunks..see we r so kind! After all the cleaning and all that... theres bags inspection!! This is where my packet of Fox sweet keana kope away..=(

Wednesday 31 Mayyep woke up at 5.45am..wanted to be Shirley`s alarm clock..By this i meant poking her awake..But sadly, she already woke up! =(..Have morning exercise then breakfast. Breakfast and supper actually not much difference except that supper got MILO!! Ya.. then we have our soft skills workshop: Empowerment and Conflict Managment thats where we learnt to see the potential in others and how to manage different types of ppl. Its quite interesting to a certain extent, really. Then Hotel so cute lah...during one of the break , Melvin say 1..2..3.. then everyone doink together..doink as in flopped their heads down onto the table and sleep.haha!Lazy hotel! But i like :P Then it happens that me,nadhirah and josef didnt sleep...then josef said we are the polar bears hahaa! Polar bear is a game actually..where by when everyone slp the polar bear will wake up and kill someone..then everyone slp and wake up together. then muz guess who r the killers. LoL.
Then comes games. Wahh..this game really test our cooperation,trust and communication skills.. We didnt complete the game in the end..quite sad..But really, i think that our teamwork is commendable! I felt that we are quite bonded after today..lol ..
Ya..have dinner... wah den we crapped alot..and josef always MIA..i guessed the guys are tired looking after him.lol...Then we got Movie..its called Coach Carter. I watched half of it before falling asleep..guess im tooo tired!Oh ya, we also watched a movie clip, Ryan`s Well. Its pretty inspiring.. Ryan is only 6 yrs old yet he went into such lengths to raise funds for his well which will b built at one African`s school. He really displayed our school motto: Non mihi Solum. I think many ppl ought to be ashamed of themselves...though they are older than Ryan..Many of them are not matured enough ,are not selfless enough, to raise funds to build a well for the africans. Oh well... life isnt fair.. The people at Africa dont even have clean water..yet the people in Singapore are wasting water..=/
So weird.. First ppl say jingkang looked like me then now yongwei told me zkai looked like he is my brother cos we looked kind of alike? Hmm..interesting

Why you all highlight this part and read?funny!Thursday -1 juneHaha so funny! Cheryn always mixed George [yongwei] and Tony[Tau ni/soya bean] up..But really, i think they dont looked alike at all! Ya...then we have our values workshop which touched on dunking peopl/throwing cakes at ppl during their bdae, forgery and dying of hair/having mutiples earrings. So the facilitators acted out 3 scenes for us..haha. I realised Tony is super hardworking? He is like the saikang warrior..doing everytthing.. From acting out in scenes to being a faciitator to handling all the IT equiments =.=""
After that, we have SL project preparation! Wahh.. Sl project preparation really very fun man...all thanks to yongwei and tony!! Hahahaaa =D.. This is also our first touch with civilisation after so many days!
Then, we celebrated nadhirah birthday!! In fact, durin last night supper..the whole camp sang happy bdae song to nadhirah and a guy called Jonathan! yeahh... then the facilitators bought a cake for nadhirah from POlar cakes i think.. so nice of them right? :D.. Yeahh,.. Happy Birthday Nadhirah!! Sweet Seventeen!
After dinner...we have Night walk!! Heh. We took a bus all the way to Pungol Marina den we set down in this open ulu clearing [duno how they found out about this place also]...den we lighted candles and wrote comments for everyone. Yeah..in general i got two extreme kind of comments.. One is ppl saying im enthu and i lead them in the three cheers...another is ppl saying im quiet and need to be more vocal. hahaa! ok..i admit im quite quiet relative to the other groupmates..they are really HIGH and Enthu! Especially..Victoria..shes always HIGH to the point of being nutty! hahaa! Yep..so after this we walked all the way back to Ajc..in about 3 hrs or so. Haha. Wileen so good lor... past by her house...then everyone waved to her papa mama and kor kor! Why the night walk so short one...I thought it will be must longer...10km only..=/
Friday- 2 JuneToday is the last day..so sad..=(.. We went for our Sl project..went to J8 for our lunch..and theres wheree I met white chess[only yongwei will know what im saying] haha!..yeah.. Finally! Good food! ahh...yummy! Then we proceeded to AWWA home and fetched the old folks to Peranakan Antique House. Yeah... I love interacting with old folks..dont know why. Then I even brought two strangers together into good friends leh... Mr Sunny and another guy..heh. They used to stay in the same district [joo chiat] but didnt realised that until today.so they chatted about their olden days and catched up with times.Hehee... Really, old folks have plenty of experiences and they are always willing to share them. But its quite scary though. I casually asked one of the old folk on the bus..whether he like it at AWWA. Then he say, yeah, life is good there but it is even better to be at home. So, theres abit of awkward silence then i juz say yeah..and quickly jumped to other topics. Then wileen and victoria sang some songs for us... Victoria gt a lovely and powerful voice..potential singer! Yep... so on the way back.. everyone was tired...Hotel and Juliet ppl slept on the bus while the old folks are still awake. Then me and my seat partner was chattig non stop..like some old friends. =D..It turned out that..he wanted to skip his therapy sesion..but our outing ended so early! Aww..so sad..=P
Yep... then we have our certs and all and have FINALE. hahahha we are so high man! dancing around the track..then they screened some of our photos. Hotel pics so little! We must be more zilian next time ok? =P
Yeah...so it ended. Wileen suggested hugging the two instructors. She said 1..2..3..then we all pranced towards them and hugged them.[supposingly]...In the end, wileen hugged yongwei and melvin hugged tony. HAHA! Looking at the two facilitators expressions.. it was PRICELESS! so funny! They are like in shock or something!
