Now i regret not watching more tv. " Reguarding the Singapore Idol, what are your views?" "Will you participate in the Singapore Idol?" " Do you have any idols?" ... these three questions stunned me during my O lvl chinese oral. Much to my horror, my mind chose the "perfect" time to blank out and soon enough i felt my hands turn cold and my tongue got stuck somehow. So, thats come to a conclusion that theres only one word, 5 letters to describe the oral : S U C K S.
Q:" Reguarding the singapore idol, what are your views?"
A: I think it is a good event as i feel that singapore focus too much on the academic areas. This event is a golden opportunity to showcase the other talents of Singapore teens.
Q: "will you participate in the S`pore idol?"
A: No. Thats because i know my own limits- i simply dont have the flair for singing and dancing.
Q: "Do you have any idols?"
A: No. I believe everyone is unique- each individual excels in their own ways. Therefore, i feel that theres no need to worship any idol.
You have just read the answers to the oral questions of a chinese oral failure. All the answers were dished out in CHINESE , often disrupted by my endless errrrs and urrms... and at times, i simply gave an incomplete answer as i have difficulties choosing the correct word. The examiner have to ask me to relax TWICE . Most unfortunately, one of the examiners is from CHINA and that spells out 1 word- D I E. At the end of the oral, the male examiner asked the female examiner," Do you think she can make it?" My heart nearly stopped beating at that instant. " She is still.. ok," was the reply.. luckily she said that, or " Girl, 16, committed suicide after chinese O level oral" will be splashed on the newspaper headline.bLeahz. The moment i walked out of the dream studio (oral exam room) is the moment my merit/distinction for chinese oral grew its wings. =<
Time is draining away, like an inverted hour-glass, drip by drip, sand by sand, so are my hopes of achieving a much desired grade for O level examination.
